Dear James, We recently purchased a building inspection you did for Leonard St Melrose Park, SA. I would like to commend you on the quality of the report which gave us confidence in purchasing the house. This was the second house we had commissioned a building inspection on; the first inspection was twice the price as yours and was basically a hand written report, unlike yours which went into great detail highlighting problem areas including pictures and diagnostic costs. There was also far more practical information which will be invaluable to a layman without builders contacts. I can assure you that when we make future house purchases that require building inspections we will certainly use you, and have no hesitation in recommending your business to others.
Someone recommended having James do the pre-purchase inspection on our latest property. I really loved the report that James produced. It is easily the best report I've ever seen out of the 12-15 I've had done before. It was very detailed, but also direct and to the point about each aspect of the property. There were so many photos; you can never have enough photos in an inspection. And the photos were intelligently placed in the section of the report that related to them. Along with the report, there was a wealth of information on different aspects of building features, common problems and recommendations. And if that wasn't enough service, James was more than happy to discuss the details of his report on the phone. Both my husband and I would like to sincerely thank James Vassos (Building consultant) for his professionalism and efficiency whilst he recently carried out repair work on our home in Adelaide. His level of customer service was outstanding. My husband and I are living interstate at the moment and were trying to sell our house when we suddenly found out we had a problem with termites in our 3 year old home. Buying my first interstate investment property was made a lot easier through using the services offered by James. I believe there's a lot to be said for intuition I felt comfortable with Mr James Vassos (PreInspections.com.au) from the moment we spoke on the telephone. For me, this is paramount. He was open and upfront about his business and gave me a detailed explanation of what it is he does. I opted for a verbal inspection. I was invited to accompany James through the entire inspection, writing my own notes based on James advice. This way I could see all the potential problems with my own two eyes. Brilliant! Great for future reference. The experience was also an education for me. James identified salt damp and related structural problems, drainage issues, wiring hazards, areas of roof damage and leaks and also previous sites of termite infestation. The infrared technology used gave me piece of mind, knowing that all non-visible locations throughout the home were investigated, so there are no surprises later on. James summarised all the major concerns and provided remedy advice. Plus, it was reassuring to hear of the many positives the house does have also. The following day I received an email from James with all the photographs he had taken of the property including all ceiling and roof images that I was unable to see on the day.
